What do Volunteers do?
We have several opportunities for volunteers to make a difference at Aspen Camp. Current opportunities include:
- Programs
- Recruiting campers and team members
- Contact businesses for partnerships
- Helping supervise youth
- Transporting participants, team members, or supplies to program locations
- Set up or clean down the facilities before or after programs
- Office/Kitchen
- Picking up groceries
- Prepping food
- Cooking or baking goodies
- Washing dishes with the big, fun industrial dishwasher
- Brining leftovers to local shelters
- Maintenance
- Cleaning cabins, offices, and bathrooms
- Doing some fixing up on the campgrounds
- Pluck out noxious weeds and dead branches
- Fixing some plumbing challenges
- Painting, sanding, or building
- Outreach
- Giving presentations to local schools
- Recruiting participants and team members
- Representing Aspen Camp at community events
- Be a liaison for local communities and parents
- Host FUNdraisers to provide scholarships for low-income campers
- Be a part of our annual fundraisers
